Moulin de la Roque

After a really long and uncomfortable bus ride, we finally made it to Avignon. Jamie’s cousins, Seth and Alli, picked us up and they took us to the villa they were staying at, Moulin de la Roque, in the town of Noves. After taking showers and a nap, we walked around the property.

The property was an old mill that the owners purchased 15 years ago and renovated into several villas and townhouses for people to rent out. It’s located right on the edge of a mountain, which you can see when you look out the window of the apartment. The owners are really friendly and they have a huge dog named Simba. For dinner, we made a big meal (Nasli cooked most of the food) on the grill with different meats from the area, grilled zucchini, lemon potatoes, chickpea salad, stuffed peppers, salad, and a few other delicious items. The twins, Jane and Georgia, played and danced for us and then we all went to bed.
